Real-Time Hotel Mapping for Content Consistency Across the Travel Ecosystem
Solution
Quantiphi developed an end-to-end solution to help Qtech Software build the travel ecosystem with up-to-date hotel content. First, a unified master hotel database was created by eliminating the duplicate hotel records from the travel data, ensuring real-time hotel mapping along with operational efficiency. We leveraged translate API for multilingual data sources.
Combining a proximity string machine algorithm (Levenshtein distance) with geographic clustering helped us to build a tree-based classifier that determines the duplication of hotel records.
Results
- Increased Operational Efficiency
- De-duplication of hotel and travel data
- Multilingual solution
