Generative AI Use Cases Driving Business Value: Insights from an Expert Panel

At the recent AWS Summit 2024 in New York, an expert panel discussed the early adoption of Amazon Q and generative AI use cases. The panel, which included distinguished industry leaders and Quantiphi’s own Global AI/ML GTM Leader, Stephanie Pace, focused on moving from pilots to production and emphasized the importance of prioritizing real-world use cases that deliver tangible business value.

Pace shared her insights on this critical topic, highlighting the necessity of aligning GenAI applications with strategic objectives. She also mentioned that Quantiphi, being tightly aligned with AWS, harnessed Q Apps to reduce the company's pre-sales cycle by 15%. It allowed the team to focus more on the high value tasks and the customer experience. In doing so, Quantiphi saw a 20% improvement in sales productivity.

Pace also underscored the importance of being generative AI ready.

“Some of the challenges include the customer simply not being generative AI ready. We’ve worked closely with AWS to create a data roadmap for these customers and support them in their gen AI journey. Our differentiation often comes down to how much customization the customer desires and their concerns about owning the IP.”

When deciding between a custom AI/ML project or a preferred use case for Amazon Q, we evaluate both aspects. This includes considering whether to use Bedrock with customization, SageMaker, or the quicker time-to-value with Amazon Q, especially if it meets specific integration needs.” she said.

Pace’s insights on strategic prioritization are mirrored in Quantiphi’s approach to generative AI. Quantiphi’s active role in the panel discussion highlights its leadership in the generative AI and AI space over the past 11 years. The company has focused on creating solutions that deliver real-world value, showcasing the practical applications of generative AI in various industries.

Quantiphi’s generative AI platform baioniq is designed to help organizations quickly onboard generative AI capabilities and apply them to domain-specific tasks. The company has successfully worked with clients to deploy generative AI applications in the following use cases:
