Coke One North America Names Quantiphi as the Innovation Partner of the Year

Quantiphi’s IT solutions enable Coca-Cola bottlers to save money and grow revenue

MARLBOROUGH, MASS., November 19, 2019 — Quantiphi, an award-winning applied artificial intelligence (AI) and big data solutions and services company, has been presented with the inaugural Coke One North America (CONA) Innovation Partner of the Year Award.

Quantiphi and CONA Services, an IT solutions and innovation provider to Coca-Cola’s bottling businesses, have been jointly working on advanced artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and big data solutions to optimize sales and operations performance for its bottling partners.

OrderSmart and VendPrime, scalable solutions powered by cutting-edge AI and AI, jointly developed by Quantiphi and CONA services, can analyze large volumes of data and provide actionable insights for bottlers, enabling them to function efficiently with accurate forecasting.

“We are honored to be selected as CONA Services’ Innovation Partner of the Year. This award is a testimony to our expertise in building and deploying practical AI/ML-centric business solutions at scale,” said Reghu Hariharan, co-founder, Quantiphi, Inc. “The overwhelming success of the solutions demonstrates the vast potential of how AI, machine learning and data science can revolutionize the bottling business.”

With the successful implementation, Quantiphi and CONA are focused on extending the benefits of implementing AI/ML solutions for transforming core business models and creating innovations and opportunities in the bottling business to optimize product sales, logistics and warehouse operations.

“The amount of data we have at our disposal to make better decisions is massive,” said Saurabh Parikh, vice president, innovation, CONA Services. “In a marketplace with mature cloud computing and advanced science capabilities, we needed a capable partner willing to work within the context of our business and technology stack. Quantiphi filled that gap and has become a trusted partner invested in the success of our innovation effort. Their team and the AI/big data solutions are an integral part of our mission to deliver growth to the Coca-Cola bottlers in North America.”

OrderSmart is a forecasting solution that provides stock-keeping unit (SKU) level estimates for each store in CONA Services’ entire North American convenience retail landscape. The project successfully forecasts the sales of nearly 170,000 convenience stores across North America and applies additional store specific context to generate a draft order for field sales associates. Bottlers choose to redeploy in-outlet efficiencies generated as a result in a variety of ways.

The VendPrime solution combines collaborative filtering and popular demand to generate real-time recommendations for Coca-Cola vending machines across North America. This helped to drive sales growth and reduce the amount of product that sat untouched in the machines.
